You just invested in a brand new vacation home in a great area and you are ready to start
generating revenue and making a nice return on your investment. The traditional solution to starting a vacation home rental operation is handing your home over to a property manager to provide turnkey management.

Here's what you get:
- Complete management of bookings, check-ins, payment, housekeeping
- Complaint handling of guest interraction
- Coordinating lawn care, snow removal, pest control
- Managing minor maintenance issues
Here's what they get
- 40% of all gross rental proceeds
And here's what they don't want you to know
- They are in business to maximize their profits, NOT yours
- They will stock their portfolio with enough properties to handle their peak periods so they never miss a booking opportunity. During non peak periods (most of the time), they pick and choose which homes get the rentals. When your home sits empty, it costs them nothing.
- Often, there will be incidental charges; hot tub fees; credit card fees; linen fees
- Some unscrupulous managers will hijack nights to use for their own revenue (especially if you are an out of town owner)
- They will fabricate maintenance issues to keep their maintenance personnel busy
The reality
- The property manager will actually siphon 50% of your revenue or more
- You still have to pay mortgages, utilities, major repairs, property taxes and upgrades
- You will struggle to generate any profit
- Your ROI on your vacation rental will remain near "0"
There is a better way ........ self managed vacation home rentals
Ditch the property manager !
